Olive AP Academy – Havering

Our alternative provision academy based in Hornchurch supports young people aged between 11 and 16. We offer a broad curriculum to a diverse group of young people who have experienced difficulty in learning in mainstream schools. We help our students develop the confidence, skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their adult lives.

Our headteacher Ray Lawrence leads an experienced team who support our students to reach their full potential. Our executive headteacher is Mark Vickers.

Our academy’s SEND coordinator is Sue Cox; she can be contacted via the academy office.

Tuesday 1 December 2020:

In response to advice from the Director of Public Health, London Borough of Havering, the academy building is closed until Monday 7 December. A remote learning and welfare programme is in place for all pupils until they return to the academy site.

Please read our latest parent and carer letter on our news page for further information and contact details if you have any questions. We will continue to update the news page as needed and will be in daily contact with our pupils and parents/carers through our remote education and welfare programme.

During this short period of closure, if you have any safeguarding concerns or if you are worried about a child, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead Gary Haines – mobile 07990 040469, email gary.haines@oliveacademies.org.uk.

For ongoing guidance on minimising transmission of coronavirus please visit our COVID-19 page.

Ofsted Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school
