Olive AP Academy – Havering
Our alternative provision academy based in Hornchurch supports young people aged between 11 and 16. We offer a broad curriculum to a diverse group of young people who have experienced difficulty in learning in mainstream schools. We help our students develop the confidence, skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their adult lives.
Our headteacher Ray Lawrence leads an experienced team who support our students to reach their full potential. Our executive headteacher is Mark Vickers.
Our academy’s SEND coordinator is Sue Cox; she can be contacted via the academy office.
As we welcome back our students, please check our news page for the most recent information for parents and carers about how we are managing risks around the transmission of coronavirus, and our COVID-19 page for the latest guidance.
Parent View gives parents/carers the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. We value all feedback about our academy and encourage all our parents/ carers to complete the online survey at any time.
Safeguarding children at Olive AP Academy – Havering: all staff at our academy take safeguarding children very seriously.
All staff have been trained in safeguarding and child protection. If you have any concerns about a child’s wellbeing, bullying or e-safety, please contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead Gary Haines via the academy office. T: 01708 478892
