Olive AP Academy – Havering currently caters for up to 64 boys and girls aged between 11 and 16 who have been excluded or are at risk of being excluded from a mainstream school. Admission to the academy is by referral only. Students who are permanently excluded are referred directly to Olive AP Academy – Havering and students are placed in the academy for assessment, by the sixth day following the exclusion date.

Students may be referred to our academy by the In-Year Fair Access Panel (IYFAP), Havering’s inclusion panel. At IYFAP meetings all local schools are represented and decisions are made on appropriate educational provision for each individual pupil.

You can find further detail about exclusions and IYFAP from Havering’s local authority website.
