We're thrilled to share the trust's latest Summary Annual Report, which details just some of the successes and highlights across the five academies, as well as key financial information and governance arrangements.
2022/23 was a positive year for Olive AP Academy - Havering. Staff have worked collaboratively at the Havering and Thurrock academies, which has made a noticeable impact on Year 11 pupils. Academic outcomes for this year group above the national average for the alternative provision sector. We're also extremely proud that all of our Year 11 pupils went on to further education or employment, meaning our Havering academy reported 0% not in education, employment or training (NEET).
The effects of joint working between our Havering and Thurrock academies has demonstrably had a positive impact on the quality of education for our pupils. Specifically, the development of reading and literacy, the breadth of subjects in the curriculum and further development of our therapeutic offer.
We were also delighted that the academy was found to be ‘Good’ in all areas following our Ofsted inspection in February 2023. The report recognised our successes in pastoral support and a carefully designed curriculum in preparing students for successful reintegration back into mainstream schools and their next steps in education, training or employment.
