All pupils are assessed when they join Olive AP Academy – Havering (OA-Hv) to identify their strengths and needs. Parents/carers are involved in these discussions at their child’s induction meeting at the academy.
What special educational needs does OA-Hv support?
- communication and interaction difficulties
- cognition and learning difficulties
- social, emotional and mental health difficulties
- sensory and/or physical needs
We offer appropriate personalised planning and differentiation for pupils with SEN and teaching will be responsive to different learning styles to allow for meaningful and effective learning and inclusion for all.
